Sawa was leading our mentorship programme for LGBTQIA* entrepreneurs in South Africa. She tailored the curriculum to the needs of each entrepreneur and coached them through the ups and downs of entrepreneurial life. Very early on in the programme, Sawa had to adapt to a virtual set up in light of the pandemic. She managed the process exceptionally well, ensuring all mentees had access to the resources they required. Sawa’s sensitive and analytical approach complements her ability to think outside the box.
